For awhile now, I have been jazzing on DC's "Showcase Presents: House of Mystery, Vol. 1".

Such concise stories with some great artists. Kubert and Toth KNEW how to use black and white like very few artists today do.

Whereas MoM's predecessor, Trick or Treat, was more of a love letter to Halloween, this is was inspired by the original "House of Mystery."

Just need to find myself a Cain... ;)

Anyways, I'll let some more pages drift this way over the course of the next few days.

In all honesty, there has been a plethora of new things created, just haven't taken the opportunity to post via dA, as many of them aren't my "typical" fare.

Yeah, making a nice looking B&W comic is a bigger challenge than it might seem. I personally love a really well done B&W comic. Like you said, if the person knows what they are doing it can be pretty enjoyable. Color is sometimes way overrated. :nod:

Oh boy...you're telling me...I'm tempted to forsake all the work I put into toning to go back and just display the inks by themselves.

I hope you enjoy MoM:AaD. Seeing new Composerz is still a pleasing experience for me.
